CINCO DE MAYO COUPLES GOLF

Welcome to couples golf and Cinco de Mayo Day fundraiser, where "Cinco"—the number 5—determines your score. Today your foursome is one team, and you will need to pay attention to how many scores you record for your team on the par 3, par 4, and par 5 holes, so read carefully. Just remember that scores recorded for each player row are GROSS scores, and scores recorded for the team row are NET scores.

MULLIGANS: Each player can buy "Cinco Muliganos" for cinco dollars, which can be used on any hole—but if you take a mulligan, you must play that ball instead of the one you mis-hit. When you use a mulligan, place a circle in the scoring square for that hole for that player.

   Par 3 Holes: Add and record NET scores for THREE (3) balls. Determine which three scores AFTER you finish the hole - NOT before. Roll die to see whose ball will NOT be counted. (1=first name on card, 2=second name, etc.) Roll a “cinco” and choose any player you wish. Roll again if you roll a 6.

   Par 4 Holes: Add and record NET scores for TWO (2) balls.

   Par 5 Holes: Add and record NET scores for TWO (2) balls, but any putt inside cinco feet is automatically good (use string provided).

   One last wrinkle. Look back over your scorecard to the net team score on Tide #5 and Trail #5. Because you are celebrating Cinco de Mayo, double your net team score on both these holes. (So if your net team score for the two balls you had to count was 8, it now becomes a 16.)

KP holes for women are Trail #2, Tide #6. KP holes for men are Trail #7, Tide #3. Winter rules. Men play white tees. Tell your team today’s score cannot be posted.

Total your team’s NET score for all 18 holes and turn your card in promptly to the pro shop desk.
