The results of the survey questions:  (RESULTS)

1.      What is your preference regarding having a planned luncheon and program once a month following a shotgun tee time?

a.      *, it is a good opportunity to socialize and meet new members.  (32)

If yes, would you prefer a pre-selected luncheon item or order off the menu?  Selected (5)   Off menu  (18)

b.*     *No*, it is just not convenient and of little interest to me at this time.  (9)

c.               Either way in fine with me.   (9)

2.      Our practice each week has been to award prizes (shop credit) to 30% of those who play.  If the weekly entry were increased from $6 to $10, we could award prizes to 40% of the players.  The amount paid to the top performers would not increase. Rather, more of us would win something each week.  Are you in favor of raising the weekly entry from $6 to $10 next season?

a.     YES   (30)     b.    NO   (20)

Comments: All are direct quotes.

Slow play must stop.

Same tee boxes for all.

All play the whites

No low gross.  The same people always win

May payments for five places in low net only.

Let members play whatever set of tees they want regardless of age or handicap. That is what handicaps are for. We are all old farts.

Try to have warm, dry days always.

All play blues or whatever.

Have 2 flights for each individual net and gross. 20 HC and lower and 21 and higher

Eliminate PL membership requirement to be part of the PLMGA.

Ask Wayne.

Moving home and home to Mondays.

Moving home and home to Mondays.

Home and Home on Mondays.

Single tees and mixing all handicap levels in the foursome.

No suggestions.  I would play more but my spouse has health issues.

Handicap and tee issues.

Have men's clud provide a marshal to deal with slow play (on men's clud day only).

Slow play mist be stopped.

Use same tee box for all players.

If a player qualifies (by handicap) for the blue tees and because of age can move to the white tees - he shold still play with the blue tee flight - not he white.

Need MGA board minutes on the website.

Have later start times - we are retired.

Do not enjoy play with really slow players.

This year's MGA minutes and the green committee minutes have not be placed on the computer.  We want transparency.

Play postable competitions

Pace of play - too slow.

I think more winners is a great idea.

Drop pressure ball and yellow ball events.

Course marshals.  Enforce speed of play.
