Setting up a email address for MS Outlook Express or other email systems.

1. Open your email system, i.e., Outlook Express.

2. Click on "tools" and open "new accounts"

 

3. Open "new accounts" and click on the "add new account" button.  Then click on "next."

Continue with Microsoft Exchange, POP 3.  It is usually the default and the button is marked.

4. Click on the "POP3" button, then click on "next."

For example, your email address would be "yourname@plmga.org"

Then type in your password twice (suggest that you write it down too)

5. Complete information needed for your new email account.

Go to more settings to put in the following information.

 When you have finished, click on "finished."

6. Go back to your "inbox" and send and select "plmga.org" as your default account.  You can do this by going to "tools" and selecting "view or change existing e-mail accounts."  After clicking on the "view" bubble, click on "next."

 

7. Select "PLMGA.ORG" as your new default email account.  You will continue to receive all of your email message from other.  Your "default" email account (PLMGA) will be the outgoing account.
